Throughout April & May we are asking you whether you have done or are doing something wonderful for wildlife which will make a difference. This could be planting some wildflowers in your garden hoping to attracting lots of bumblebees and birds, or putting up some bats boxes which already have a bat roost in them. If you think you have done or are doing something wonderful then we are asking you to tweet / post / email your photos to us on Twitter, Facebook or via the website, with a short explanation using the hashtag #loveourcreatures. We will then select our favourite three stories and write a blog about you at the beginning of June. The winning three entries will also win a Creature Candy mug, tea towel and notebook worth £32.00! If you are selected, you will be asked to provide us with more information about your success story.

Why are we doing this? The motivation behind creating Creature Candy was largely to raise awareness of the importance of doing something for nature and our declining species. Unfortunately, it’s not enough to just care, so we all need to play a part in creating homes for nature and allow it to thrive our gardens. Sounds easy doesn't it, but where do you start? By sharing our success stories and spreading the word, we can help inspire others to do something wonderful for wildlife. Planting wildflowers, building a hedgehog house, making a bug hotel……..they all contribute to the wider picture and give us something to be proud of.

The deadline for tweets and Facebook posts (or emails) is Thursday 28th May. We will announce the winner on Monday 1st June.

We cant wait to hear your stories!
