“It didn’t take long for brown hares to become my favourite subject to photograph.”

Richard Campion is an award winning wildlife photographer from Jersey, Channel Islands with a core focus on photographing British wildlife. Richard says: “I’ve always been somewhat interested in photography but in 2016 my sister gifted me a Canon 500d and a 250mm lens and that’s when my love for photography, and more specifically wildlife photography, began. Now, I can usually be found belly-down on the edge of a field looking for hares, or sat on a riverbank looking for dippers.” When it starts to get dark Richard swaps his camera for a bat detector. A man after our own hearts then!
