Peter Egan is an English actor, best known for his roles in 'Ever Decreasing Circles' and 'Downton Abbey'. Outside of his acting work, Peter is an avid advocate for animal rights. He is an ambassador for Sarajevo dog rescue group Saving Suffering Strays, as well as the Animals Asia Foundation, a charity that works to end cruelty to animals in Asia. He is also patron of All Dogs Matter, a dog rescue and rehoming charity in and around London and Norfolk.
